The cover was sent to Mrs. Head in Wimbledon on 15th August 1900 from Wellington, Cape of Good Hope [Cape Colony].
Annotated at top centre is "E.C.W. Miss Murray South Af-" is the name of the addressee, Miss Helen Murray, Daughter of the Rev. Andrew Murray (Snr.).
In 1876, Helen (Ellie) Murray was at the Midland Seminary opened at Graff-Reinet in Cape Colony.
She was a former Huguenot seminary pupil, and later worked for some forty years, training young mothers in the vast parish of Graff-Reinet.
