'Block of four on watermarked paper ex Brsdbury, Wilkinson's archives

The first stamp of the Transvaal to be printed on a Chafford Mills watermarked paper was the Revenue 2/6d. duty in 1879.
The letter ' I ' of the watermark can be seen in the unprinted border.
